I've tried meditation before, so what if I struggle to relax?
Like any new practice, you have to give your body time to adjust. Like going to the gym, when we start out it's really hard, but we know it's doing us good, so we keep trying. Meditation is not really about being completely still, we can engage in active rest especially when starting out. It's about allowing our nervous system a chance to pause and for our body to reset. Your thoughts are free to flow and float as they wish, if you notice them drifting you doing great! Our mediations are guided by yours truly, which helps you to stay present and in the moment.
Why 8 Affirmation cards?
In numerology, the number 8 is considered: Accomplished, Balanced, Dedicated, Prosperous, Authoritative, Strong, Professional and Goal-oriented. All things we are aiming for. In astrology, the number 8 is seen as Strength and in Asian culture 8 is considered lucky. So I have curated cards that uplift and make room for reflection to help us feel better from the inside out.
How do I arrange my 20 min session?
You will receive a link to the appointment booking area after your purchase confirmation. Simply, click on an available date and you’re booked in! You will receive a further appointment confirmation email.
What happens during the session? You know me! We’ll have a chat, My Lovely! Use the time to talk about what’s on your mind and what could be helpful or use the time for a guided meditation with me. My Selfcare check-up is a useful way to see where you are with your selfcare, which is important to know.
Do I need to prepare for the session? It’s best if you have an idea of what you feel you find difficult or would like to cover to make the best use of our time.
